Our Social & Financial Inclusion

SIGN Services as Business Correspondent to premier Banks



SIGN has partnered with the largest Indian Bank, State Bank of Indiaand already put up 350 banking KIOSKs in 7 Districts. Internet based KIOSKs are opened in the identified villages. Tiny Savings Accounts are being opened through Biometric Authentication and customers are making deposits and availing direct benefit transfers under various Social Benefit Schemes. We are managing as at the end of JULY, 2016, around 350,000 live banking accounts. In a month, transactions crossed INR 89 million.



SIGN has been implementing Financial Inclusion Projects (FIP) in 2000 plus population Villages in 14 districts of Odisha. Besides State Bank of India, we have partnered Union Bank and Utkal Grain Bank (RRB) more than 200,000 accounts since been opened for the BOP people.

By now, we stepped into send tier of financial inclusion making our banking KIOSK operational. Number of transactions have increased to 150022 p.m. and volume reached to INR 91.45 crore (US$ 13,529,000). As it happens, these represent low value high volume transactions by the BOP people. Average ticket size comes to INR 5,895.00 (US$ 88.20).
